Review Changes
Copy a prompt, paste it into NocoAI in a factory session, and replace the words in [brackets] with your own.
- Explain the changes of the last turn, file by file
- Undo the changes to [package.json] and keep the rest
- Run the tests and fix what fails before I review
The Changes tab of a Noco Factory session shows the code changes of the session as a diff. Review the work of NocoAI here before you push it. Comment on lines, and send the comments to NocoAI to fix.
Choose what to compare
The scope menu at the top of the Changes tab sets which changes show. The default is Branch.
| Scope | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Last turn | The changes from NocoAI's last reply. |
| Uncommitted | All changes that are not committed. |
| Unstaged | Uncommitted changes that are not staged. |
| Staged | Changes that are staged for the next commit. |
| Committed | The changes of one commit. Select the commit. |
| Branch | All changes on the branch since the session started. To compare with a different branch, select it in Search branches. |
When the session has no changes, the tab shows "Nothing changed yet".
Read the diff
In the Changes tab of a Noco Factory session, the list of changed files is next to the diff. Each file shows as Added, Modified or Deleted. Use these controls:

| Split or unified | Shows the old and new code side by side, or in one column. |
| Word wrap | Wraps long lines. |
| Word diffs | Marks the changed words in a line. |
| Hide white space | Hides changes that are only spaces or line breaks. |
| Expand all diffs, Collapse all diffs | Opens or closes the diff of every file. |
| Jump to file | Finds a file in the list. |
| Show files, Hide files | Shows or hides the file list. |
| Viewed | Marks a file as reviewed and collapses it. If the file changes again, the mark goes away. |
| Copy git apply command | Copies a command that applies the changes to your local copy of the repository. |
Send comments to NocoAI
- Hover over a line in the diff, and click + next to its line number. The Comment on [line] box opens.
- Type the change that you want in Request change, and click Comment.
- Add more comments on other lines if you need to. A bar at the bottom shows the number of comments.
- Click Send to agent. NocoAI gets all comments in one message and makes the changes.
To remove all comments without sending them, click Clear in the bar.
Commit or push the changes
Click Commit or push at the top of the Changes tab. NocoAI gets the message "Commit the changes and push the branch." and does it. See Branches and pull requests.
Only the person who started the session can comment and commit. Other members can read the diff.
