Create Options using AI

Overview

When working with Single Select or Multi Select fields, you can now let NocoAI suggest relevant options based on your field name and table context. This helps reduce manual work and ensures meaningful, consistent values.

Steps to Create Options Using AI

1. Add a Single Select or Multi Select Field

   Click the + icon in the top-right corner of the field header in your table, then select either 'Single Select' or 'Multi Select'. Provide a clear and descriptive field name that reflects the type of options required.

2. Click Auto Suggest

   Inside the field configuration modal, click the ✨ Auto Suggest button to fetch option suggestions.

3. Review Suggested options

   NocoAI will analyze your field name and table context to generate a list of relevant options. You can add, remove, or edit the suggested values before saving.

4. Click Save Field

   Finalize your configuration to add the field and its options to your table.

Tips for Better AI Suggestions

• Use a descriptive field name Example: Instead of "Type", use "Application Status" or "Task Priority".

• Set table context The more specific your table name and existing fields are, the better the suggestions. Example: In a table named “Tasks”, a field called “Priority” will likely suggest: Low, Medium, High.

• Apply business terms Use industry-appropriate terminology in your field name to guide the AI. Example: For a field called “Candidate Stage”, suggestions might include: Applied, Screened, Interviewed, Hired.
