Thread - 2026.08.2 release

1/ NocoDB 2026.08.2 ships today.

Dual-axis charts, embedded linked records, workflow folders, and one more thing: Interfaces and Workflows are now on every plan, including the Community Edition.

2/ Charts with two Y-axes.

Interface dashboard charts can plot more than one field at a time, and a second Y-axis gives a field with different units its own scale.

Revenue as bars, hours billed as a line. One chart tells the whole story.

3/ Linked records as embedded views.

A link field on a record detail page is now a full working visualization: search, sort, filter, and group the related records, edit them in place, and link or unlink them, all without leaving the record.

4/ Workflow Folders.

Group workflows and scripts into folders in the Workflows sidebar, the same way folders work for tables and views.

5/ Comment Notifications.

Subscribe to every comment on a record, not only the ones that mention you. Click the bell on the record and choose "Notify me about all comments"; posting a comment subscribes you automatically.

6/ Interfaces and Workflows for everyone.

Interfaces arrive on the Cloud Free plan with no limit on interfaces or pages.

The Community Edition now includes 2 interfaces and 2 workflows per base.

7/ More for builders:

  • Run automations from interface buttons, with a new "When a button is clicked" trigger
  • Buttons on interface records: update, copy link, delete, open a URL from the record
  • AI filter prompts in the interface builder
  • Gallery themes, realtime page updates, dark mode refinements

8/ Heads-up for integrations: the next release moves API datetime values on PostgreSQL and SQLite to millisecond precision. Strict datetime parsers may need updating; details in the changelog.
