Phone Number

The Phone number field is a text-based field for phone numbers. It has an option to validate values. Validation makes sure that values have a valid phone number format.

Create a Phone number field

Click the + icon next to the last field in your table.
Enter a name for the field.
Select Phone number as the field type.
(Optional) To turn on validation, turn on the Validate Phone number option.
(Optional) Set a default value for the field.
(Optional) Add a description.
Click Save Field. NocoDB adds the field to your table.

Validation only makes sure that the format is a valid phone number. It does not check if the number exists. Spaces, parentheses, dots and hyphens are ignored, so a number such as +91 98450 12345 passes.
