Formatting Formula Results
Format the output of a formula to control how the data shows. The formatting options depend on the type of result. Use them to show your data in the most useful and clear way.

Numeric Formats
Decimal
The Decimal format shows results with a specified number of decimal places. Use it to set the precision.
Currency
Use the Currency format for monetary values. You can set a specific currency symbol, and the result shows it.
Percent
The Percent format shows results as a number. You can also configure it to show as a progress bar.
Rating
Use the Rating format for ratings on a scale from 1 to 10. You can change the icon and the color. You can also select the maximum rating value in that range.
Date Formats
Date Time
The Date Time format shows both date and time values.
Date
The Date format shows only the date values. Many date formats are available.
Time
The Time format shows the result in 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
Text Formats
The Email format shows results as email links that users can click. When NocoDB finds an email address in the formula output, it formats the address as a mailto link. Users can click the link to open their default email client and send an email.
URL
The URL format shows results as web links that users can click. When NocoDB finds a valid URL in the formula output, it formats the URL as a hyperlink. Users can click the link to go directly to the web address.
Phone Number
Use the Phone number format to show the results as phone numbers.
Boolean Format
Checkbox
When NocoDB finds that the output of a formula is a Boolean result, you can apply the Checkbox format. The result then shows like a checkbox field. You can change the icon and the color.
