Comments
NocoDocs has a built-in comment system. Team members use it to give feedback, discuss content, and track resolutions, all in the document.
Comments, replies, and comment counts update live for all people who have the document open. Thus, discussions happen in real time, together with collaborative editing.
Comment Sidebar
The comment sidebar shows all comments on the current document in one place. To open it, click the Comments icon in the editor toolbar.
Filtering Comments
Use the filters at the top of the comment sidebar to show fewer comments:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| All | Show all comments |
| Unresolved | Show only open, unresolved comments |
| My Comments | Show only comments you created |
| Inline Only | Show only comments anchored to specific text |
User Mentions
Use @ mentions to tag team members in your comments:
- In the comment input field, type
@. - Select a user from the autocomplete list. The list shows the project members.
The mentioned user gets a notification.
Types of Comments
- Inline Comments: Anchor comments to specific text selections.
- Comment Threads: Reply to comments in threads.
- Reactions & Resolve: React with emojis and resolve discussions.
