AI Assistant
NocoDocs has a built-in AI assistant. Use it to write, edit, and refine document content in the editor. It can continue writing from your position, improve or restructure text, change the tone, summarize, and translate into 17 languages.
Capabilities

How to Access
You can start the AI writing tools from two places in the editor:
Slash Commands
In the editor, type / and search for AI commands. The NocoAI group has these commands:
- Continue Writing: AI continues writing from the current cursor position.
- Summarize Document: AI makes a summary of the entire document.
Bubble Menu
- Select text. The bubble menu opens.
- Click the NocoAI button (sparkles icon). The AI menu opens with all the writing tools.
AI Suggestion Results
When an AI operation is complete, the result shows inline in the document or in a popup. The location depends on the operation. Then select one of these actions:

| Accept | Applies the AI content (Enter) |
| Discard | Removes the suggestion (Escape) |
| Try Again | Runs the same operation again for a different result |
| Insert Below | Keeps your original text and adds the suggestion below it (popup mode only) |
While the AI works, an animated progress indicator shows these steps: Reading document → Thinking → Writing. To cancel the request, click Stop at any time.

- AI Assistant needs a Business plan or above on Cloud, or an Enterprise license for self-hosted deployments.
