NocoDocs lets you create rich-text documents inside your NocoDB projects.
NocoDocs is a document editor inside NocoDB. Use it to create, organize and work together on rich-text documents. The documents are in the same project as your tables, views and dashboards.

## Key Capabilities

| **Rich Text Editor** | A full block editor. It supports headings, lists, callouts, code blocks, math equations, tables and more. |
| **Real-Time Collaboration** | Edit a page together with your team. Changes show immediately for everyone. Named cursors and presence avatars show who works where. |
| **Hierarchical Organization** | Put documents in a tree structure. Drag and drop to change their order. |
| **Media & Embeds** | Embed images, file attachments and content from 25+ platforms, for example YouTube, Figma, Loom and NocoDB shared views. Save a link as a visual web bookmark card. |
| **Inline Comments** *(Enterprise)* | Attach comments to selected text. Reply in threads and add emoji reactions. |
| **AI Assistant** *(Enterprise)* | Generate, improve, summarize and translate content with the built-in AI writing tools. |
| **Slash Commands** | Type `/` anywhere in the editor to get 60+ formatting and block options. |
| **Auto-Save** | NocoDocs saves your changes automatically while you type. |
| **Version History** | See earlier versions and what changed. Restore a version with one click. Retention is different for each plan. |
| **Export** | Export a document to Markdown, HTML or PDF. *(PDF export requires Enterprise.)* |
| **Public Share** | Publish a document to a public URL, with an optional sub-pages tree. *(Cloud / self-hosted Business and above)* |
## How NocoDocs Fits Into NocoDB
NocoDocs is **scoped to a project**, the same as tables and dashboards. Documents show in the left sidebar together with your tables and dashboards. You can move documents to any position between them. Each project can have its own document tree. Documents get the collaboration settings and role-based permissions of the project.

## Availability
* NocoDocs is available on Cloud and on self-hosted deployments, including the **Community Edition**. On self-hosted, some advanced capabilities require a paid plan. Each feature page shows its plan requirements.
